Muma Hostel

We stayed at this hostel for two nights. The location is great and convenient. It is located in front of the coast. Staff were very nice and helpful. The room was basic and clean. Good breakfast selection apart from the coffee. There is also a proper Café at the premise where you can buy a proper espresso. We were unlucky that there no electricity for one night. That caused some inconvenience. I would have given a 4 stars if it was not because of this incident.

The reception of Muma Hostel opens at 4pm. We arrived on our bikes in a pouring rain 2 hours earlier. Friendly guest of the hostel showed us to use the shed from the rain and warm up. We did so and waited in the community room silently for the reception to open (and our cloths to dry). At 4pm the director of the hostel herself arrives and accused us of massive missbehavior before even saying hello or asking us who we are and why we are here. I have never in my life experienced such unpolite, unprofessional and unwellcoming behaviour from a director of a hostel or a hotel. We have left the place because of the missing hospitality of Muma Hostel towards their guests. Update on june 4th: Muma Hostel continues with accusation of massive missbehavior instead of seacking a dialog - all of the accusations are simply not true. I didnt mention things that didnt happend. We are vegetarians, we eat no tuna and the garbage we create we dispose in garbage bins. At all times we had clothes on, even while changing the parts that got wet on the rain. The only missing part were the shoes - we had no spear pair and my partner was wearing socks. While waiting for the reception to open we we relaxing on sofa - in order not to make any damage through our wet clothes, we covered the sofa with our cloth. We were reading and hearing podcast on the phone, leaned on each other. I am very sorry that you prefer stories you've been told from others. Nevertheless, you should verify them before beleaving them and even worse: accusing others of things they didn't do.
